Delighted to have one of our recent projects featured in Architecture Magazine. The article focusses on our sustainable approach to design and implementation.
Delighted to have been asked again to mentor undergraduate architectural students from UeL. Nice being part of this programme and always great to assist future architects along their career path.
Very excited to be working on a new airspace development in London. ‘’Airspace developments’’ are those built within your ‘air rights’ in existing buildings - which currently average around two levels up from the existing building. With an obvious need for additional accommodation evident in most places across the country and with existing available land at a prohibitive premium, this form of vertical development could just be one of the solutions.........
We are almost complete in our domestic extension project in a Conservation Area in London.
A simplified palette with generous glazing, we hope to conclude shortly.
Great to have recently started on site with our Mansard Roof conversion in East London. Following a very positive pre-app planning response from the LPA and formal approval granted late last year, we are now mid-way through construction.
We are creating two additional bedrooms with a private roof terrace and a shower-room all within a tight footprint.
Looking forward to sharing the end results with you once complete.
Very pleased to confirm that we have been granted Planning Approval for our Change of Use to Residential project within a Conservation Area.
We utilised a combination of the powerful new Class MA Change of Use alongside a traditional planning application process (additional windows and other façade amendments) to go from Use Class E to Residential.
This change of use policy is for any building in the uses classes such as Shops, Financial and professional services, restaurants and cafes, offices, light industrial, medical or health services, creches, day nursery, indoor sports etc.
Pleased to confirm that following our planning success, our clients were able to quickly implement the changes, with the property now fully tenanted as a beautiful residential apartment.
We are delighted to have been included in NLA’s NetZero Resilient London for our project to simply and effectively create a new roof garden for a Victorian house, incorporating an extensive biodiverse roofscape with terrace, whilst upgrading the thermal performance.
